Words can’t express how much fun we had on this project. Not only do we get to use our creativity to make people’s homes into something they adore, but we also get to know some really incredible people in the process. This den was a dark, English pub inspired room before we got our hands on it and now it’s bright, airy and it has an eclectic collection of old and new items. One of the most fun parts of this project was hearing the stories behind this family’s treasures and incorporating them into our design made the process that much more rewarding. Fresh paint from our favorite painter (Hand Painted Homes, Inc), window treatments, new furnishings and a gorgeous wool rug from Maran Home and lots of attention to detail made this space fresh and bright. The icing on this cake came from Anna Bostic Fine Art. Her abstracts brought so much life to the space. I think it’s the perfect marriage of old and new, dark and light, bold and understated and we couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome.
